8 Game Apps to Win Real Money (I Tested & Withdrew Cash)

I tested dozens of game apps to win real money and withdrew cash from 8 that actually pay. Bingo Cash, Solitaire Cash, Mistplay + more. Free to download.

I’ve spent the last few months downloading, testing, and withdrawing money from dozens of gaming apps that claim to pay real cash. Spoiler: most of them are garbage.

But a handful of these apps actually deliver. I’m talking real PayPal deposits, not some sketchy “points” that never convert to anything useful.

Below are the game apps that actually paid me real money—ranked by how much I earned and how fast I got paid.

Best Game Apps That Pay Real Money (Tested & Verified)

1. Bingo Cash — Best Overall

💰 What I earned: $127 in my first month playing casually

  • App Store Rating: 4.7 (119,000+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: PayPal, Apple Pay
  • Best For: Players who want the highest cash prizes per game

I was skeptical when I first downloaded Bingo Cash. Another “win real money” app? I’d been burned before.

But here’s what changed my mind: I withdrew $47 to my PayPal within my first week. The money actually showed up.

Bingo Cash works differently than most apps. You’re competing against real players in head-to-head tournaments, and the winner takes the pot. The cash games require a deposit to enter, but here’s the thing—they also have daily FREEROLL tournaments where you can win real money without paying anything.

The prizes go up to $83 per game, which is significantly higher than most gaming apps I’ve tested. And because it’s skill-based (everyone gets the same bingo board), it actually rewards you for being fast and strategic rather than just being lucky.

My take: If you only download one app from this list, make it Bingo Cash. The payouts are real, the withdrawals are fast, and the FREEROLL games mean you can test it without risking anything.

2. Solitaire Cash — Best for Solitaire Lovers

💰 What I earned: $89 over 3 weeks of evening play sessions

  • App Store Rating: 4.6
  • Payout Options: PayPal, Apple Pay
  • Best For: Anyone who already plays Solitaire on their phone
solitaire cash game app to win real money

If you’re already playing Solitaire on your phone (be honest, we all do), you might as well get paid for it.

Solitaire Cash takes the classic Klondike Solitaire you already know and turns it into a competitive cash game. You’re matched against other players, everyone gets the same deck, and whoever finishes fastest with the highest score wins the pot.

I tested this over three weeks of playing during my evening wind-down time. What surprised me was how quickly the prize pools grow—the more players in a tournament, the bigger the payout. I hit one game with a $35 prize pool just from a $2 entry.

The minimum deposit is $5 to play cash games, which felt reasonable. And unlike some apps that make you jump through hoops to withdraw, I had my first cashout in my PayPal within 24 hours.

My take: Perfect if you’re already a Solitaire player. You can skip the practice rounds entirely and go straight to competing since the rules are exactly what you know.

3. Mistplay — Best No-Risk Option (Android Only)

💰 What I earned: $43 in gift cards over 6 weeks (no deposit required)

  • Google Play Rating: 4.1 (417,000+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: Gift cards, prepaid cards, PayPal
  • Best For: Android users who don’t want to deposit any money
mistplay game app to win real money

Here’s the thing about Mistplay that sets it apart from every other app on this list: you never deposit a single cent.

No cash tournaments. No wagering. You just download games through the app, play them, and earn points that convert to real gift cards or PayPal cash.

I tested Mistplay for about 6 weeks. The earning rate is slower than the competitive apps—I made around $43 in Amazon gift cards—but the trade-off is zero risk. You’re literally just playing mobile games you’d probably play anyway, except now you’re getting paid for it.

The 417,000+ positive reviews on Google Play aren’t lying. This is as legitimate as it gets for passive gaming income.

My take: If you’re on Android and want guaranteed rewards without any gambling element, Mistplay is your move. The payouts are modest (expect around $50/month if you’re consistent), but the money adds up with zero downside.

4. Blitz Win Cash — Best for Competitive Players

💰 What I earned: $67 in 2 weeks (but I also lost $20 learning the ropes)

  • App Store Rating: 4.6 (30,000+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: PayPal, gift cards
  • Best For: Players with fast reflexes who thrive under pressure

Fair warning: Blitz Win Cash has a learning curve. I lost $20 in my first few days before I figured out the mechanics.

But once it clicked? I pulled in $67 over the next two weeks.

This is a fast-paced skill game where reaction time and accuracy matter more than luck. You’re matched against players at your skill level, so as you get better, you’re competing against better opponents—but also for bigger prizes.

Each round is short (perfect for playing during a coffee break), and the gameplay is deceptively simple. Easy to learn, hard to master. If you’ve got good hand-eye coordination and enjoy arcade-style competition, you can genuinely make decent money here.

My take: Not for casual players. But if you’re competitive and willing to practice, the earning potential beats most apps on this list. Just start with the free practice mode before betting real money.

5. VYBS — Best for Passive Earners (Android Only)

💰 What I earned: $31 in PayPal cash over 4 weeks of casual play

  • Google Play Rating: 4.8 (44,000+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: PayPal, gift cards
  • Best For: Android users who want to earn while playing games they’d play anyway

VYBS works similarly to Mistplay—you earn points by playing games, then redeem them for real rewards. No deposits, no gambling, just play-to-earn.

I downloaded a few puzzle games through VYBS and played them during downtime. After 4 weeks, I cashed out $31 to PayPal. Not life-changing, but that’s money I earned from games I would’ve played anyway.

What I like about VYBS is the higher Google Play rating (4.8 stars) and the fact that earning milestones are clearly laid out. You know exactly what you need to do to earn points.

My take: Similar to Mistplay but with slightly better user ratings. If you’re on Android and want zero-risk gaming income, run both apps simultaneously to maximize earnings.

6. Branded — Best for High-Value Offers

💰 What I earned: $156 from 3 offers (took about 8 hours total)

  • App Store Rating: 4.6 (20,000+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: PayPal, gift cards
  • Best For: People willing to complete specific tasks for guaranteed payouts

Branded is different from everything else on this list. You’re not competing in tournaments—you’re getting paid to test apps and complete specific actions.

The offers range from $5 to $100+ depending on complexity. Install this game and reach level 15? $12. Test this finance app and make a deposit? $75. The payouts are spelled out upfront, and if you complete the requirements, you get paid. Period.

I completed three offers over about 8 hours of total effort and made $156. That’s nearly $20/hour for playing games on my phone.

The key is being selective. Some offers have brutal requirements (reach level 50 in 14 days). Others are easy money. I cherry-pick the high-payout, low-effort offers and ignore the rest.

My take: The highest earning potential on this list, but it requires more strategy. Featured on CBS, so the legitimacy is there. Worth downloading just to check what offers are available.

➤ Try Branded — earn $5-$100+ per completed offer

7. InboxDollars — Best for Earning Cash on the Side

💰 What I earned: $53 in my first month + $5 free signup bonus

  • App Store Rating: 4.4 (106,000+ reviews)
  • Google Play Rating: 4.2 (94,000+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: Gift cards, check
inboxdollars game app to win real money

InboxDollars has been around forever, and there’s a reason it’s still popular—it actually pays.

The platform combines games with surveys, watching videos, and other small tasks. I focused mostly on the games and surveys during commercial breaks and lunch breaks. After a month of 5-10 minutes per day, I’d earned $53 plus the $5 signup bonus they give everyone.

The game selection is solid—everything from puzzle games to casino-style slots (no real gambling, just earning points). What I appreciate is the variety. If you get bored with games, switch to surveys. Get tired of surveys? Watch some videos.

My take: The $5 free bonus just for signing up makes this a no-brainer to at least try. InboxDollars has paid out over $50 million to members, so the track record speaks for itself.

8. Swagbucks — Best All-Around Rewards Site

💰 What I earned: $78 in my first month + $10 welcome bonus

  • App Store Rating: 4.4 (13,600+ reviews)
  • Google Play Rating: 4.2 (39,900+ reviews)
  • Payout Options: Gift cards, PayPal
swagbucks game app to win real money

Swagbucks is the heavyweight champion of rewards sites. They’ve been around since 2008, paid out hundreds of millions to members, and offer more ways to earn than any other platform.

Games are just one piece of the puzzle. You can also earn by searching the web (yes, just Googling stuff), shopping online, taking surveys, watching videos, and completing offers. I made $78 in my first month while barely trying, plus the $10 welcome bonus they give new users.

The highest-paying surveys pay up to $35 each and take less than 10 minutes. Combined with gaming rewards, it adds up fast.

My take: If you want the most ways to earn from a single platform, Swagbucks is it. The $10 welcome bonus means you’re already ahead before you do anything.

Quick Comparison: Which App Should You Choose?

App Best For Deposit Required? Earning Potential
Bingo Cash Highest per-game prizes Yes (free games available) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Solitaire Cash Existing Solitaire players Yes ($5 min) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mistplay Zero-risk earning (Android) No ⭐⭐⭐
Branded High-value guaranteed offers No ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Swagbucks Most ways to earn No ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Bottom Line

You’re already spending time on your phone. Might as well get paid for it.

After testing all these apps, here’s my honest recommendation:

  • Want the highest payouts? Start with Bingo Cash. The daily FREEROLL games let you test it risk-free.
  • Don’t want to risk any money? Go with Mistplay (Android) or Swagbucks (any device).
  • Already love Solitaire? Solitaire Cash is a no-brainer.

These apps won’t replace your day job, but an extra $50-200 per month from games you’d play anyway? That’s real money in your pocket.

Ready to start earning? Pick one app, download it, and give it a week. You might be surprised how quickly it adds up.

I’ve played a lot of games. They are supposed to let you win real money. They start out good. Then, you can’t seem to add anything to what you have won.
I like playing games but I need money too. When I play games to win real money, I get frustrated when I can’t seem to add anything to what I have won. After all, if you’re playing games for real money, who doesn’t get frustrated when you’re not adding anything to what you’ve won? They set the cash out so high that you can’t get it.

Initially, I was very skeptical about being able to earn real money or gift cards of my choice. I’m happy to say, that Mistplay truly does reward you for playing games. I’ve been playing for about a month and a half, and just turned in my earned units for a $25 dollar gift card at Amazon. It took two days for my reward to be successfully processed.

It used to take sooo long to accumulate points and money that I never won anything after constantly playing apps like Lucktastic so I uninstalled it months ago. I decided to re-install these gaming apps after months of uninstalling it and it seems to allow users to receive points for gift cards etc much faster that that the difference was instantly noticeable! I would suggest to give them another go.

So true or you win so much that you can not get the rest to cash out

I’ve played Lucktastic and Lucky Day off and on for 3 or 4 years and NEVER won more then 3 or 4 dollars. A far cry from cash out.

I know a guy who was shocked when he won a $5,000 Lucktastic prize — it’s just really random if you win money (as it should be).
